Abstract:
A take-up device for a filament material comprising feeding means for feeding a filament material, take-up means for taking up the filament material and tension detecting means for detecting the tension of the filament material wherein there is further provided tension adjusting means for adjusting the tension of the filament material to a predetermined level by changing the speed at which the filament material is fed out based on a value detected by the tension detecting means. Since the tension adjusting means adjusts the tension of the filament material by changing the speed at which the filament material is fed out by means of the feeding means, the response to a change in tension can be improved so that such a change can be offset.
