Abstract:
A tamper inhibiting arrangement (10) for inhibiting tampering with a retaining nut (12) mounted on a free end (14) of a shaft (16) includes a covering member (18) having a first end (22), the covering member receivable over the free end of the shaft to impede access to the nut at least partially and at least one engagement arrangement (34) carried on the first end of the covering member, the engagement arrangement being transversely displaceable with respect to an axis of the shaft between an outer position and an inner position. The invention extends to a tamper inhibiting arrangement in combination with a boat propeller hub (54) and shaft mounting assembly.
