Abstract:
[Problem] To improve efficiency of tape attaching operations of a tape attaching apparatus.
[Solution] This tape attaching apparatus is provided with a tape attaching head, which cuts, at a predetermined length, a tape fed out from a tape roll, and which attaches the tape to a workpiece, and the tape attaching apparatus is capable of automatically replacing the tape roll of the tape attaching head. The tape attaching head is provided with: a head main body having a cutter section which cuts out a tape portion having the predetermined length, said tape having been fed out from the tape roll; and a removable unit, which is removably attached to the head main body and has a tape roll holding section that holds the tape roll. Furthermore, the tape attaching apparatus is provided with: a dock main body that engageably and disengageably holds the removable unit; and a head moving mechanism, which relatively moves the tape attaching head between an attaching operation position where the tape is attached to the workpiece, and a removable unit engaging/disengaging position where the removable unit is engaged with or disengaged from the dock main body.
