Title:
TAPE PRINTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/043707
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tape printing device which can successively carry out full-color printing, which is based on a plurality of printing data, on a tape-shaped recording-target medium and cut the recording target-medium, wherein color mixture in the printing result is prevented and the printing result is provided in the desired size. When the tape printing device (1) receives a plurality of printing data (P) including a background, the tape printing device (1) compares a rear background area (Bb) of preceding printing data (P) and a front background area (Bf) of following printing data (P). When the two areas are different from each other, the tape printing device (1) creates a front color mixture permission area (Mf) and a rear color mixture permission area (Mb) on the basis of the front background area (Bf) and the rear background area (Bb), arranges the rear color mixture permission area (Mb) of the preceding printing data (P) to be adjacent to the front color mixture permission area (Mf) of the following printing data (P) (S13), and sets a cutting position (C) at a front end boundary (Ef) and a rear end boundary (Eb). The tape printing device (1) cuts a tape (T) at the cutting position (C) while carrying out full-color printing on the tape (T) on the basis of the printing data (S8).
