Abstract:
[Problem] To increase tape detection precision. [Solution] This tape supply device is provided with: a rotatable support stand that supports a roll of tape; a guide shaft that can rotate together with the support stand and that is disposed along the axial direction of the roll of tape supported by the support stand; a guide ring that is disposed in a manner so as to encircle the guide shaft and that forms a ring-shaped gap with respect to the guide shaft; a sensor that has a light generation unit and a light reception unit and that detects the position in the ring-shaped gap of tape pulled out from the roll of tape; and a rotary mechanism that rotates the support stand and the guide shaft. The light generation unit and the light reception unit are disposed in the guide ring in a manner such that detection light is at the outside of the guide shaft.
