Embodiments of the present application provide a target detection method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining a target image comprising a target object; performing instance segmentation on the target image to obtain a segmentation mask corresponding to the target object; on the basis of the segmentation mask, obtaining a feature of a position relationship between target pixel points in a target region where the target object in the target image is located; obtaining a feature of a position relationship between standard pixel points in a preset region of interest in a standard image, the standard image comprising a standard object corresponding to the target object; and matching the feature of the position relationship between the target pixel points with the feature of the position relationship between the standard pixel points to obtain the correspondence between each target pixel point and each standard pixel point, and obtaining pose information of the target object on the basis of the correspondence. According to the embodiments of the present application, the target detection efficiency is high.
