Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a target detection method and a model training method therefor, a related apparatus, a medium, and a program product. A training method for a target detection model comprises: respectively detecting, using a target detection model, a target in a first sample image and a second sample image to obtain a first detection result of the first sample image and a second detection result of the second sample image; determining at least one first detection box in the first sample image on the basis of the first detection result, and determining at least one second detection box in the second sample image on the basis of the second detection result, wherein the first detection box and the second detection box are used for representing the positions of the target; obtaining a first loss of the target detection model on the basis of difference information between the first detection frame and the second detection frame that represent the same target; and adjusting a network parameter of the target detection model by using the first loss. The solution can reduce the training cost of the target detection model.
