Abstract:
This invention provides a means capable of separating a target substance regardless of the type (charge) of the target substance. In the target substance separation method according to this invention, a target-substance-and-magnetic-particle complex is formed using a sample including a target substance and magnetic particles having, fixed thereto, first receptors for specifically recognizing a site of the target substance, and the target-substance-and-magnetic-particle complex is separated using magnetism and electrophoresis.
