Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for scanning target teeth in consideration of aesthetic tooth arrangement and functional occlusion. In the method for scanning target teeth, a target tooth included in a patient's maxillary dental model and a target tooth included in the patient's mandibular dental model are installed on a jig by using a placement guide and are scanned simultaneously, and the scanned data is detected as a 3D object corresponding to each tooth with reference to the placement guide such that the tooth included in the maxillary model and the tooth included in the mandibular model, mixed and placed in one jig, may be distinguished and detected.
