Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/095358
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A multi-core processor comprising a plurality of cores having different execution performances wherein performance degradation which occurs because a high-performance core waits for a processing result of a low-performance core, can be decreased.  A task pool to store executable tasks for each arithmetic core; a task scheduler; and a reference count analysis module which acquires hint information and a reference count presumption method from a running task, and presumes a reference count from the hint information on the basis of a task newly input to the task pool and a method by which reference counts of tasks remaining in the task pool are designated, are provided, and the scheduler inputs and acquires tasks mainly using the core performance and the reference count.
