Provided in the present application are a task handling method, a storage medium, a server, and a device, comprising: acquiring a timed task file package uploaded by a user from a user interface; scanning the timed task file package, acquiring a timed task in the timed task file package; acquiring execution information of the timed task; and when the time task is started, assigning, on the basis of the execution information, the timed task to a task executing node corresponding to the execution information, thus allowing the task executing node to load the timed task. The timed task of the present application is independent of an executing program, the execution of the timed task is unaffected by the failure of a single-point server, and the need for program redeployment is obviated when updating the task, thus increasing the efficiency of development while increasing the efficiency of task execution.
