Provided is a task switch assistance method, comprising having an information processing device: store task information relating to a task which a user carries out; store an element which is associated with the task information, and which is correlated with the performance of the task; assess a control which correlates with the task; determine, on the basis of the assessed control which correlates with the task, a work situation with respect to the associated element which correlates with the execution of the task; and, on the basis of the task information and the work situation with respect to the associated element which correlates with the performance of the task, carry out a switch of the task with a backgrounding or a foregrounding of the work situation.
