Abstract:
Substituted taxol derivatives of general formula (I) having an antitumor activity, wherein R?6� is optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl; and R?5� is methyl, or together with R?4� forms a three-membered ring, provided the cases wherein R?3� is hydrogen, R?4� is hydrogen or hydroxyl, and the linkage between the carbon atoms to which R?3� and R?4� are bonded respectively is a single bond are excepted.
