Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a telepresence system that enables more satisfactory communications. The telepresence system comprises: a network connecting a plurality of sites; and a plurality of telepresence devices that transmit and receive video and sound via the network and share the video and sound among the sites. Each of the telepresence devices controls selecting, out of a plurality of layouts, arrangements of a plurality of users in a shared communication space where users at different sites communicate one another and switching thereamong. The present art is applicable to, for example, a telepresence system.
