Abstract:
A temperature calculation method includes dividing a cross-section of a hot rolled steel plate that is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction thereof into a plurality of rectangular elements and calculating the temperature for each rectangular element using the finite difference method. A first region 31, which is a region that includes an edge part of the cross-section, is divided such that the plurality of rectangular elements is lined up in the direction of plate thickness and also the plurality of rectangular elements is lined up in the direction of plate width. A second region 32, which is wider than the first region 31 and includes the center of the cross-section, is divided such that the plurality of rectangular elements is lined up in the direction of plate thickness and is not divided in the direction of plate width.
