Abstract:
A temperature control device (10) comprises: a machine body temperature sensor (94) that measures a machine body temperature of a portion away from a main spindle device (26); a return oil temperature sensor (78) that measures the temperature of a cooling oil circulating in a machine tool (12) and collected by the temperature control device (10); an oil controller (44) in which at least two modules (48, 50, 52, 54), each including a cooler (72) and controlling the temperature of the cooling oil detected by the return oil temperature sensor (78) so as to conform to a reference temperature defined on the basis of the machine body temperature, provide communication between tanks and are connected in parallel to the machine tool; and a piping connection manifold (56) for making uniform the convergence of the cooling oil toward the machine tool (12) and the distribution of the cooling oil to the respective modules (48, 50, 52, 54).
