Abstract:
Provided are: a temperature sensor by which high-speed sensing, low cost, and free layout design are realized and which do not require complicated work; and a method for manufacturing said temperature sensor. In a temperature sensor 1, terminal sections 9 of a connector part 7 are exposed to the outside of a pipe part 2, a connector-side embedded section 8 of the connector part 7 is embedded in an embedded section 4 of a lateral wall portion 3, an exposure section 12 of a housing part 11 is disposed inside the pipe part 2, and an embedded base 13 of the housing part 11 is embedded in the embedded section 4. The housing part 11 is made from metal.
