Title:
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/094435
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a temperature sensor capable of performing a highly reliable detection
of temperature fluctuations. The temperature sensor comprises a light source
unit for emitting a laser light, a separating unit for separating the laser light
emitted from the light source unit, into a test light and a reference light, a sensing
unit for arranging the optical path of the test light across a measured space,
the temperature of which is measured, and a detecting unit for detecting the change
in the temperature by causing the test light having crossed the measured space
and the reference light thereby to detect the fluctuations of the interfering
state. The sensing unit is disposed at the leading end of a cylindrical casing
parallel to the optical path of the test light, and the separating unit is disposed
at the root end of the casing. The casing is equipped at its leading end with a leading
end wall having a transparent member for transmitting the test light, so that
the test light having passed the transparent member may reach the sensing unit,
and the leading end wall is equipped with a reflecting member for reflecting the
reference light.
