Abstract:
This tension control device (100) comprises: a first mechanical loss coefficient estimation unit that, on the basis of the tension of a web material (5) wound on a roller shaft (6) being wound or unwound by rotation of the roller shaft (6), and on the basis of the wound diameter of the web material (5) wound on the roller shaft (6), estimates a mechanical loss coefficient that changes depending on the wound diameter, the roller shaft (6) being a rolling body; and a computation unit that performs a correction using the mechanical loss coefficient that changes depending on the wound diameter, and generates a control command for causing the roller shaft (6) to rotate.
