Abstract:
Provided by the present invention is a terahertz waveguide, comprising: an input end, comprising an input end waveguide and an input end micro-structure waveguide that are connected in sequence; a transmission end, comprising a subwavelength waveguide, an air layer surrounding the subwavelength waveguide, and an outer cladding layer surrounding the air layer, one end of the subwavelength waveguide being connected to the other end of the fiber core of the input end micro-structure waveguide, and one end of the outer cladding layer being connected to a cladding layer of the input end micro-structure waveguide; and an output end, comprising an output end micro-structure waveguide and an output end waveguide, the other end of the subwavelength waveguide being connected to one end of the fiber core of the output end micro-structure waveguide, the other end of the outer cladding layer being connected to a cladding layer of the output end micro-structure waveguide, and the other end of the fiber core of the output end micro-structure waveguide being connected to one end of the output end waveguide. The present invention solves the problem in which conventional subwavelength waveguides require mechanical support in the entire transmission direction, while ensuring that the influence of two end structures on the transmission of internal terahertz waves in a main transmission segment is minimal, and isolating a transmission waveguide from the environment.
