Abstract:
A term indicator for indicating the expiration date of a medicine. The term indicator comprises a basic material having liquid permeability, and a final stage of term display part made of a liquid permeable material having a low refractive index placed partially on the basic material, and contains a volatile liquid, characterized in that an initial stage of term display part defined by a liquid impermeable, gas permeable region. The initial stage of term display part is formed by making a fluorine based oil repellent agent permeate into a part of the basic material or the final stage of term display part, or laying a layer of a low refractive index material and the fluorine based oil repellent agent partially on the basic material. It is useful as a term indicator for indicating the expiration date of a medicine, the initial stage and the final stage thereof.
