Abstract:
When a terminal apparatus (1), when having established no radio link to any other radio apparatus, starts a radio communication, the terminal apparatus (1) transmits, as a management frame in an active scan, a plurality of activation probe requests that use a frame length to represent the identifier of a radio base station (2) of connection destination that is desired to transition from a sleep state to an activated state. The radio base station (2) then receives, as the management frame in the active scan of a radio LAN, the plurality of activation probe requests transmitted by the terminal apparatus (1), and transitions from the sleep state to the activated state when a plurality of dummy network identifiers, which have been detected on the basis of the plurality of activation probe requests received, represent the identifier of the radio base station (2).
