Abstract:

Disclosed is a terminal box for a solar cell module, which can ensure water resistance and insulation without using another member, such as a packing. The terminal box is provided with: a box main body (31) attached to the solar cell module; a plurality of connecting terminals (33a, and so on), which are disposed in the box main body (31), and respectively have connected thereto a plurality of leading lines led from the solar cells in the solar cell module; a cable (17) for connection with the outside, said cable having one end connected to the corresponding connecting terminal (33a), and the other end led out to the outside of the box main body (31); and a through hole (36), which is provided in the box main body (31), and leads the cable (17) into the box main body (31). A reservoir (37a) for silicone, i.e., a filling resin, is provided in an area where the cable (17) is to be inserted, said area being in the box main body (31).
