Abstract:

This terminal comprises: a control unit that executes listen before talk (LBT), before transmitting a signal for direct communication between terminals, when transmitting the signal for direct communication between terminals to another terminal, in unlicensed bands; and a transmission unit that transmits the signal for direct communication between terminals to the other terminal, when the LBT is successful, wherein when a certain signal is detected after starting the LBT, the control unit executes a process related to the backoff counter of the LBT on the basis of the type of the certain signal.
