Abstract:
A test signal output circuit (12) outputs test signals to a transmission line (2) in accordance with a clock signal that has been controlled by a control circuit (13). An AD converter (11) samples a reflected signal of the test signals from the transmission line (2). The control circuit (13) detects, from the sampling result of the AD converter (11), waveform changes corresponding to the positions of terminals (3) connected to the transmission line (2). The terminals (3) connected to the transmission line (2) are disposed in the transmission line (2) at regular intervals set in accordance with the sampling period of the AD converter (11).
