This terminal device is provided with a wireless transceiver and a circuit for receiving setting information from a base station. The setting information includes a first information element indicating mapping of a plurality of beam-formed SSBs with both first and second pluralities of occasions, and a second information element relating to an overlap of the first and second pluralities of occasions in the frequency domain and the time domain. The second information element is set from one of three cases relating to the overlap of the first and second pluralities of occasions. The circuit, on the basis of the setting information, transmits a first preamble in an occasion corresponding to a first SSB in the first plurality of occasions, and transmits a second preamble in an occasion corresponding to a second SSB of the second plurality of occasions. The first and second occasions are mutually different occasions in the frequency domain and the time domain.
