Abstract:
In order to efficiently control cells that use unallocated frequency bands or shared frequency bands, a terminal device is provided that comprises a reception unit that monitors a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) by using a secondary cell having a type-3 frame structure. If the host layer indicates a first possible start position for downlink transmissions and a second possible start position for downlink transmissions, in the secondary cell having the type-3 frame structure, the terminal device monitors both a first candidate set for PDCCH and a second candidate set for PDCCH, using a prescribed sub-frame. The first candidate set is assumed to start on the basis of the first possible start position and the second candidate set is assumed to start on the basis of the second possible start position.
