Abstract:
Provided is a terminal device (10) that is capable of wireless communication with a plurality of base station devices (50), the terminal device (10) comprising: an acceptance unit (11) that accepts an enquiry regarding capability information of the terminal device (10) from one base station device among the plurality of base station devices (50); a notification unit (13) which, in a case in which the terminal device (10) is capable of communicating with the plurality of base station devices (50) arranged at different positions, issues, to the one base station device and on the basis of the enquiry, notification of, as capability information, usability information indicating that the terminal device (10) is capable of using a plurality of MIMO methods having different maximum numbers of usable layers; and a reception unit (15) that receives a wireless signal transmitted by the one base station device by using a MIMO method set on the basis of the capability information. As a result thereof, it possible to provide wireless communication technology for improving the usage efficiency of wireless communication resources between the terminal device (10) and the base station devices (50).
