Abstract:
This terminal-equipped flat cable (1) is provided with a flat cable (3) in which a flat conductor (7) is sheathed by a flat insulating sheath (9), a connector body (17), and a plurality of crimp pieces (19) protruding from this connector body. By passing the crimp pieces (19) through the flat cable (3) in the thickness direction and bending the pieces, the flat cable (3) is provided with a terminal (5) in which the crimp pieces (19) are electrically continuous with the flat conductor (7). Prior to passing the crimp pieces (19) through the flat cable (3) in the thickness direction, recessed portions (11) are provided in the regions of the flat cable (3) through which the crimp pieces (19) will pass.
