Abstract:
Provided is a moving speed estimation method that detects the occurrence of Doppler spectrum components that are from peripheral moving scatterers. A moving speed estimation method that includes: a step for calculating a Doppler spectrum; a step for calculating a maximum Doppler frequency; a step for determining a first moving speed for a terminal from the maximum Doppler frequency; and a step for comparing the first moving speed with a second moving speed for the terminal that was determined a prescribed amount of time earlier and, when the first moving speed is at or below the product of the second moving speed and a first coefficient, for determining the first moving speed to be a present moving speed.
