Abstract:
Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a multimedia file searching method, terminal device and server, the multimedia file searching method comprising: obtaining from the server encrypted abbreviated information of a first multimedia file of at least one multimedia file, the encrypted abbreviated information of the at least one multimedia file corresponding to the encrypted content of the at least one multimedia file; a terminal device decrypts the encrypted abbreviated information of the first multimedia file to obtain the abbreviated information of the first multimedia file; the terminal device obtains from the server the encrypted content of the first multimedia file corresponding to the abbreviated information of the first multimedia file after determining that the abbreviated information of the first multimedia file corresponds to the target multimedia file. The multimedia file searching method, terminal device and server of the embodiment of the present invention can rapidly and conveniently find a target multimedia file from the encrypted multimedia files in the server by searching for abbreviated information of the multimedia files.
