A test container that is attached to a centrifuge, and in which a sample solution is sent in sequence from a first chamber to a second chamber by the centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the centrifuge, said test container comprising: a solution storage part that stores, in advance of the first chamber, the sample solution input from an input port; a valve that has a solution accommodation part for temporarily accommodating the sample solution sent from the first chamber toward the second chamber, said valve being capable of switching among a first state in which the first chamber is in communication with the solution accommodation part and the second chamber is not in communication with the solution accommodation part, a second state in which the second chamber is in communication with the solution accommodation part and the first chamber is not in communication with the solution accommodation part, and a third state in which both the first chamber and the second chamber are not in communication with the solution accommodation part; and a sealing part that prevents backflow of the sample solution after the sample solution has been sent from the solution storage part to the first chamber.
