Abstract:
Provided are a test container and a nucleic acid test method using the test container, wherein: a sample container is provided with an inlet into which a sample liquid is introduced, a liquid holding part, a pretreatment chamber, a valve inside which are provided a first liquid accommodation part and a second liquid accommodation part, a reaction chamber, first connection port which is for connection with a first pressure adjustment mechanism that adjusts the pressure inside the first liquid accommodation part, and a second connection port which is for connection with a second pressure adjustment mechanism that adjusts the pressure inside the second liquid accommodation part; and the valve is switchable between a first state in which the liquid holding part and the first liquid accommodation part are in communication, a second state in which the first liquid accommodation part and the pretreatment chamber or the reaction chamber are in communication, a third state in which the first liquid accommodation part and the second liquid accommodation part are not in communication with any of the liquid holding part, the pretreatment chamber, and the reaction chamber, and a fourth state in which the reaction chamber and the second liquid accommodation part are in communication.
