Abstract:
This test kit is provided with a specimen-collection container (50) and a testing instrument (300). The testing instrument (300) is provided with: an attachment portion (451) for the specimen-collection container; a test strip (470) that tests the specimen by absorbing a suspension (201) and undergoing a change in a determination portion; a test strip holding portion (500) that holds the test strip (470) and is provided in alignment with the attachment portion (451) for the specimen-collection container; and an introduction path (567) that introduces the suspension (201) toward the test strip (470). The test strip holding portion (500) has a liquid reservoir (503) that bulges at least further toward the attachment portion (451) for the specimen-collection container than a virtual plane that includes the determination portion, and a portion of the test strip (470) that is further to the introduction path (567) side than the determination portion is positioned inside the liquid reservoir (503).
