Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a tetrafluorotoluene compound represented by
the formula (1) below, which is characterized by hydrogenating a tetrafluorotoluene compound
represented by the formula (1) below and a tetrafluorobenzyl alcohol compound
represented by the formula (2) below. (1) (In the formula, R represents an alkyl
group having 1-6 carbon atoms.) (2) (In the formula, R represents an alkyl group
having 1-6 carbon atoms.)
