A text processing method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring text to be comprehended, wherein the text to be comprehended comprises a question to be comprehended and a plurality of article segments to be comprehended; inputting the text to be comprehended into a reading comprehension model, and determining, by means of a semantic analysis layer of the reading comprehension model, a question type label to which the question to be comprehended belongs, a question type label of a question answered by each article segment to be comprehended, a feature label of each character in the text to be comprehended, and a position label of each character; and determining, by means of a semantic matching layer of the reading comprehension model, a starting character position and an ending character position of answer text of the question to be comprehended, and determining the answer text of the question to be comprehended. By means of the text processing method, the efficiency and accuracy of machine reading comprehension can be improved.
