Abstract:
The present invention provides a highly-durable thermal barrier coating, which can be used on a member in a system used under high-temperature/high-pressure conditions. The thermal barrier coating comprises a ceramic layer formed on the surface of a substrate with a bonding layer therebetween, and is characterized in that the porosity of the ceramic layer in the vicinity of the boundary surface on the bonding layer side is lower than the porosity of the ceramic layer in the vicinity of the boundary surface on the side opposite the bonding layer. The thermal barrier coating can be used on the surface of a supercritical CO2 turbine.
