Abstract:
A thermal power unit dynamic real-time scheduling method based on the Cauchy distribution of wind/light power output, relating to the technical field of power system operation. By means of analysing historical wind power output, statistical or fitting software is used to implement joint Cauchy distribution fitting. For determined power system parameters, establishing a chance-constrained random dynamic real-time scheduling model; then, using the mathematical properties of Cauchy distribution, transforming the original problem into an easily solved linearly constrained convex optimisation problem; and finally solving the scheduling model to obtain a scheduling policy. The present method makes full use of the excellent mathematical properties of Cauchy distribution in terms of short-term predictions of wind power/photovoltaic power plant output, effectively increasing model solving efficiency; in addition, the adjustable risk level chance-constrained model eliminates the conservativeness of traditional robust economic scheduling, in order to provide decision makers with a more rational basis for scheduling. The present method can be applied to the active real-time economic scheduling of power systems comprising large-scale wind power grid connection.
