Abstract:

Provided is a material for thermal spray, which is capable of forming a thermal spray coating film having wear resistance and low coefficient of friction. According to the disclosed technique, a thermal spray material for forming a thermal spray coating film on the surface of an article is provided. This thermal spray material is characterized by containing a metal carbide, a metal and a metal oxide.
