Abstract:
This thermal transfer recording medium includes: a base material layer having a first surface and a second surface; and a first thermal transfer layer, an intermediate layer, and a second thermal transfer layer laminated in direct contact with each other in this order on the first surface of the base material layer, wherein the intermediate layer contains a thermoplastic elastomer. The thermal transfer recording medium comprises the intermediate layer containing the thermoplastic elastomer, and thus can record characters of at least two colors having good sharpness.
