Abstract:
Provided are a thermal transfer sheet and a photographic printing article on which a photographic printing image can be erased or hue in color can be varied. In the thermal transfer sheet, a dye layer is provided to one surface of a base material film. The dye layer contains an achromatic dye. When the hue of a transfer object prior to transfer of the achromatic dye thereto is defined as hue A, and when a portion of the transfer object having the achromatic dye transferred thereon that had a reflection density of 0.5 or more prior to xenon lamp irradiation is defined to have hue B after having been subjected to xenon lamp irradiation at an irradiation intensity of 1.2 (W/m2) for 50 hours, the color difference ΔE*ab between hue A and hue B is 10 or less.
