Abstract:
Provided is a thermally conductive additive having high processability and an excellent effect of improving thermal conductivity, and also provided are: a thermally conductive composite material containing such a thermally conductive additive; and a wire harness. The thermally conductive additive comprises an organic component and a metal-containing component, wherein: the organic component is composed of an organic compound having at least one functional group that has a coordination part capable of multidentate coordination with a metal and is simultaneously bonded to the coordination part and has a conjugated π electron system; and the organic component coordinates with a metal atom constituting the metal-containing component in the coordination part to form a coordination compound. In addition, the thermally-conductive composite material contains the thermally-conductive additive and a matrix material, wherein the thermally-conductive additive is dispersed in the matrix material. In addition, the wire harness contains the thermally-conductive composite material.
