Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoacoustic engine and effectively extracts rotary power from the reciprocating flow of a gas. A thermoacoustic engine is provided with: an air column tube (10) in which a gas is enclosed; a motor (20) in which a heater (21) that takes in heat from the outside, a regenerator (23) that maintains a temperature gradient, and a cooler (22) that discharges heat to the outside are arranged in this order in the axial direction of the air column tube (10); and a drag-type turbine (30) that is arranged within the air column tube (10) and that extracts rotary power from the reciprocating flow of the gas.
