Abstract:
A thermoacoustic generation device (1) amplifies a sound wave generated in a working fluid (F0) flowing through a fluid piping (11) by a low temperature-side heat exchanger (23), a high temperature-side heat exchanger (22), and a heat accumulator (21) disposed in the fluid piping (11), and generates electric power by means of a generator (3) using the sound wave. The thermoacoustic generation device (1) comprises: an exhaust gas heat exchanger (5) that is disposed in an exhaust gas piping (4) through which an exhaust gas (G) flows and circulates, between the exhaust gas heat exchanger and the high-temperature side heat exchanger (22), a heat medium (F1) for recovering heat of the exhaust gas (G); a temperature sensor (6) that measures the temperature of the exhaust gas (G) in the exhaust gas piping (4); and a temperature lowering mechanism (7) for lowering the temperature of the exhaust gas (G) to be supplied to the exhaust gas heat exchanger (5) when the temperature of the exhaust gas (G) measured by the temperature sensor (6) exceeds, for a prescribed time period or longer, a usage upper limit temperature demanded for the heat medium (F1).
