Title:
THERMOELECTRIC FIBER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/172584
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is a thermoelectric fiber which is woven by repeating an opening motion that opens the warp into a vertical group by means of an opening motion of a heald of a loom, a picking motion of inserting a weft between the open warps, and a beating motion of pushing the weft, the body of which is inserted between the open warps, toward the front of the woven textile so as to complete the warp and weft structure. The textile comprises an upper layer, an intermediate layer, and a lower layer, each having a double structure. The upper layer, the intermediate layer, and the lower layer are connected via a binder warp so as to form a three-dimensional multilayer textile. The materials of the weft of the upper and lower layers and of the binder warp are two types of metal material forming a thermoelectric couple. One end of the upper layer and one end of the lower layer have respective electrode wire structures formed in the warp direction, and the multilayer textile is coated with an electrically insulating material.
