Abstract:

The disclosed thermometer is intended to perform the repeated precision measurent of smelt. It is comprised of the following elements joined together in succession: a built-in antenna (1) and cap (2), a transition wave guide (3), a circulator (6), a first valve (7) and a T-joint (9), the first outlet of which is connected to the receiver (10) and the second to the inlet of the circulator (6) via a second valve (8). The cap (2), which surrounds the antenna (1), is made of a boron nitride-based ceramic clay and is both a consistent weight for the antenna and a sound-suppressing thermal insulator.
