Abstract:
A thermoplastic elastomer composition containing 10-95 weight% of a polyamide resin (A), 90-5 weight% of at least one rubber (B) selected from the group consisting of acrylic rubbers (B1), nitrile rubbers (B2) and polyether rubbers (B3), and a polyalkylene glycol (C) having a molecular weight of 200-1,000 is disclosed which is obtained by dynamically crosslinking the rubber (B). In this thermoplastic elastomer composition, 0.1-30 parts by weight of the polyalkylene glycol (C) is contained per 100 parts by weight of the total of the polyamide resin (A) and the rubber (B). Since molded articles of such a composition have rubber elasticity while being excellent in heat resistance and oil resistance and having small permanent strain and excellent fatigue resistance, they are preferably used as various automobile-related rubber components.
