Abstract:

[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a thermoplastic elastomer composition that contains a polar rubber having crosslinks, that optionally contains an olefin polymer, that has the components highly dispersed therein in a mutual manner, and that has excellent moldability; and a production method for the thermoplastic elastomer composition. [Solution] The thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the present invention is obtained through dynamic thermal treatment of (A) a carbodiimide group-containing compound, (B) an olefin polymer having a group that reacts with a carbodiimide group, (C) a polar rubber, (D) optionally an olefin polymer, and (E) a crosslinking agent capable of crosslinking the polar rubber (C).
