Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of obtaining a thermoplastic polyester resin composition capable of giving molded articles which have reduced unevenness in laser light transmittance and high transparency to laser light and are excellent in terms of mechanical strength, heat resistance, hydrolytic resistance, and dimensional stability. This thermoplastic polyester resin composition is one obtained by mixing 100 parts by weight of (A) a poly(butylene terephthalate) resin with 10-80 parts by weight of (B) a polyester resin including 50-90 mol% structure comprising a terephthalic acid residue and a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol residue bonded thereto, and has a melting point, as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter under the conditions of a heating/cooling rate of 20 °C/min, of 222-230°C, and a crystallization temperature during cooling, as measured under the same conditions, of 170-200°C.
