Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition, a method for manufacturing same, and a metal-plated molded product manufactured from same and, more specifically, to a thermoplastic resin composition, a method for manufacturing same, and a metal-plated molded product manufactured from, the thermoplastic resin composition comprising: 100 parts by weight of a base resin containing a) 5 to 40 wt% of a vinyl cyanide compound-conjugated diene rubber-aromatic vinyl compound graft copolymer having a conjugated diene rubber particle diameter of 0.05 to 0.2 ㎛, b) 5 to 40 wt% of a vinyl cyanide compound-conjugated diene rubber-aromatic vinyl compound graft copolymer having a conjugated diene rubber particle diameter of more than 0.2 but no more than 0.5 ㎛, and c) 50 to 80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound copolymer; and more than 0.01 but less than 2 parts by weight of a compound represented by chemical formula 1 and having a kinematic viscosity (25°C) of more than 5 but less than 200 cSt, wherein the thermoplastic resin composition reduces the etching time to cause no non-plating even under the condition of a high incidence of non-plating, and retains greatly enhanced thermal characteristics and plating adhesion even while having equivalent or higher mechanical properties than existing thermoplastic resin compositions, thereby providing excellent appearance quality after plating.
